Beef Chili

Clean Chili

 

1 lb of organic beef 90% lean or better

1 yellow oinion

3 bell peppers

1 tbs of minced garlic

2 cans of organic pinto beans

2 cans of organic kidney beans

2 cans of great northern beans

2 cans of black beans

3 tbs of chili powder

3 tbs of chili flakes

1 tbs of garlic salt

8 oz of low sodium chicken broth

16 oz can of stewed tomatoes with green chilis

4 oz can of green chilis

water- add to desired consistency

 

1. Pour 2 tbs of oil in pot, add garlic and cook over medium heat

2. Add beef and brown

3. Cut oinion and bell pepper into 1/2 inch cubes and add to pot

4. Rinse all beans and add to pot

5. Add tomatoes and chicken stock

6. Add green chilis and spices and stir.  Cook over high heat for 30 minutes-45 minutes.  Add water to consistency.
